Profile.

Xenon aging test chamber simulates the full spectrum lamp with Xenon arc lamp to reappear the destructive wave. It serves for the environmental simulation and accelerated test for research and development, product development and quality control. Besides, the chamber also applies to the choice of new material, weathering test after composition of material and improvement for the current material. It simulate different environment, and show the material changes under the explosion of sunlight.

 

The chamber conforms to the standard: GB/T16422.1-2006, GJB150.7A, GBT2423.24-2013 and other test standards, (control at 300-400nm, 420nm, 340nm are optional) and so on.

The Chamber is to determine the color fastness, aging resistance of textiles, plastics, coatings, rubber products or other materials by objecting to the simulated conditions of nature weather (sun, rain, temperature and humidity, etc.).

  • Structure section of machine body
The chamber consists of several section: chamber body, control system, refrigeration system, heating system, humidification system, wind system, raining system, lighting system and so on.
Chamber body

a. The chamber adopts an integrated structure. The upper left part of the box is the working room, the upper right part is the electrical control room, and the lower part is the compressor refrigeration unit, the xenon lamp condensate tank, the water pump and other execution devices. The electrical control cabinet is placed in the test box.

b. Inner wall of the test box is made of SUS304# stainless steel plate.

c. Insulation material of the box body is made of polyurethane foam and ultra-fine glass fiber, which has a good insulation effect. The outer surface of the test box is free from frost and condensation.

d. A condensate drain at the bottom of the box

e. The door frame adopts environmentally friendly silicone rubber sealing strip that can withstand high and low temperatures for a long time.

f. A glass observation window on the front of the box, and a protective film is attached to the window to prevent the eyes from being damaged by the xenon lamp.

Outer chamber The outer shell is 304# optional or the high-quality cold-rolled steel plate optional, and the surface is electrostatically sprayed after pickling and phosphate treatment;
Door and buckles

a. The door is sealed with double-layer refined silicone rubber, so that there is no aging and hardening phenomenon under high and low temperature conditions, and the sealing is more reliable;

b. The chamber is a single door (embedded door handle), with a non-reactional handle;

c. The door is equipped with an observation window, anti-frost device and switchable lighting lamp; Window Size: 22 cm W × 28cm H appr.;

Safety protection

a. It is the core part of the test chamber;

b. Main switch of the power supply is an air pressure switch, which controls the overall circuit part;

c. Safety protection measures for the electronic control part: When the control system detects the action of the following protection devices (single row), it should be able to automatically cut off the whole system and give an alarm;

l Over-temperature protection of the working room;

l Power supply lack of phase and leakage protection;

l Overcurrent protection of blower motor;

l Refrigerator overpressure/overload protection;

l Short circuit/overload protection for heaters and humidifiers;

l Fuse protection;

Refrigeration system

a. Refrigeration system: The core of the refrigeration system is the compressor. We use the French Tecumseh branded fully enclosed compressor to ensure the cooling requirements of the working room;

b. The design of the refrigeration system applies energy adjustment technology. It ensure that the energy consumption and cooling capacity of the refrigeration system can be adjusted under the normal operation of the refrigeration unit, so that the operating cost of the refrigeration system is reduced, and also reduces the failure rate;

c. Refrigeration evaporator: It is located in the interlayer of the air duct at one end of the test chamber, it’s forced to ventilate by a blower motor for rapid heat exchange.

d. Refrigeration system cooling method: forced air cooling; refrigerant: R404a; (environmentally friendly refrigerant, USA imported DuPont brand)

Heating system

a. Heating method: Direct heating in the test chamber;

b. Ceramic high-temperature insulated heating tube, with stable heating rate. It has the advantages of corrosion resistance, high and low temperature resistance, no leakage, and easy for installation;

c. SSR (solid state relay) output control, it has the advantages of no noise, reliable work, long life, strong anti-interference ability, fast switching speed, low external interference;

Raining system It consists of nozzle, solenoid valve, water-supplying and connecting pipe.
Irradiance system It consists of xenon lamp, lamp cover, lamp contactor and other controlling parts. Energy compensation is got by adjusting samples distance, pressure and current.
Humidification system

Steam generator: to generate steam from water

Water level control: control the water inlet by solenoid valve, and water level by liquid level switch to provide the signal for water-supply and warning.
