The hydrostatic pressure testing apparatus is applicable to a wide range of thermoplastic pipes, fittings and pipe assemblies intended for fluid conveyance. Covered resin types include Polypropylene (PP), Polyethylene (PE), Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC-C) and Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), along with many other polymeric materials.

The equipment accommodates extruded tubing, injection-molded pipe components and assembled test samples, with suitability unaffected by the presence or absence of hydrostatic thrust. Eligible test specimens include hot-fusion butt-welded pipe sections, single-fitting or multi-fitting pipe assemblies and saddle branch test coupons.

The nominal outer diameter (dn) of test pipes offers a wide adjustable range. Depending on the specifications of different test samples, the measurable dimension starts at 25 mm and extends beyond 315 mm.

Hydrostatic pressure testers are engineered to evaluate the internal pressure resistance performance of plastic pipes, fittings and assemblies. Under regulated test environments, specimens made from PP, PE, PVC, PVC-C and ABS are subjected to preset internal pressure for a defined duration.
