Structure and Working Principle
This drop hammer testing unit consists of core structural components including workbench, secondary impact prevention mechanism, supporting tube, catheter, hammer body, V type body, automatic drop hammer mechanism, reducer, electric control box and stand.
Working Principle: A specialized hammer body fixture mounted inside the equipment pipeline lifts the hammer body to preset testing height via motor and reducer assembly. When the drop switch is triggered, the hammer body falls freely within the pipeline to strike the test specimen. Impact energy is calculated based on hammer body weight and falling height parameters.
The photoelectric signal-controlled secondary impact prevention mechanism instantly clamps rebounding hammer bodies to avoid secondary impact interference. A V-shaped iron fitting beneath the workbench with guide rails allows specimen positioning adjustment via handwheel rotation.
