Testing Principle
Test specimens receive impact loading from a falling striker of defined mass and geometry, released from calibrated height onto designated positions along the sample's circumferential surface.
Test severity can be adjusted by modifying striker mass and/or drop height. The maximum allowable limit for TIR is specified as 10%.
