Testing Principle
Test specimens are impacted by a falling striker of defined mass and geometry, released from a predetermined height onto designated locations on the specimen circumference.
The intensity level of this test procedure may be modulated by adjusting the mass of the striker and/or modifying the drop height. The maximum permissible value for the TIR is defined as 10%.
