Test Objectives

Determination of Mechanical Properties

Via tensile testing, the mechanical property indices of steel strands are accurately derived, including tensile strength (ultimate strength under peak load), yield strength (stress corresponding to 0.2% plastic deformation), and elongation at break (deformation capacity of the gauge length after fracture).

These quantitative data form the basis for analyzing the material's mechanical behavior.

Verification of Engineering Suitability

Test results are compared with design codes or relevant industry standards to evaluate whether the steel strands meet safety and reliability criteria for practical applications in bridges, building structures, prestressed engineering, etc. This process ensures the stability of engineering structures.

Working conditions

Ambient temperature should range from 10℃ to 35℃, with hourly temperature fluctuations not exceeding 2℃.
Relative humidity must not exceed 80%.
Power supply voltage variation should not exceed 10% of the rated voltage, with a frequency of 50Hz.
There should be no significant electromagnetic interference, shocks, vibrations, or corrosive media in the surrounding area.
A minimum of 0.7 meters of space must be maintained around the testing machine, and the working environment should be clean and dust-free.
The levelness of the mainframe tabletop and frame shall not exceed 2.5‰.
